Health Tip #58 Do all your eating at table.
1. Read the daily proclamation day and night- Done. I forgot one day in the morning. I mean to read it and then before I knew it, it was night time and I didn't read it. I read it two times in a row for good measure.
2. Compliment someone each day and say nothing negative about anyone. Monday was crazy busy and I did not compliment or give someone a gift. I didn't even realize it until Monday night.
So I set out Tuesday to do double duty. I complimented my daughter. She is applying to IUSB. She is a bit nervous about college and I told her how smart she is. She is getting straight A's this year and is nervous about getting accepted. She has nothing to worry about.
Tuesday I also complimented one of my customers. She is doing great things for herself and I wanted her to know I noticed.
Wednesday, I complimented a police officer. I told her how much I appreciate what a great service she does for us. Her work does not go unnoticed. I thanked her for putting herself out there for us crazy laporte folk.
Thursday, I complimented Judy for doing such a great job with a our new computer system. We had a new walk in client and she did everything and I stood back and watched. She needed help with a few minor things but I know she is going to be a pro in no time!
This was my steamed lunch today! I had to have half a veggie burger because it had too much sodium. I made apple pie yesterday for my dad's 70th birthday (which was Monday but remember how crazy busy I said I was?) and I couldn't get it out of my mind!! I took his pie to him, with it in the seat next to me, smelling up my car with all kinds of deliciousness. I also made a pie for home.

4. Do not get angry, curse or complain. Do not gossip about anyone I got upset at my step son last night. He lied to be about something. He was afraid I would get mad at him for what he did so he lied but the lie is what upset me. . I didn't scream or yell, I asked him why he lied and told him not to lie to me ever. It bothered me but I went into my room and turned on my audio bible. Help God!
5.Give someone something material each day I forgot on Monday. Tuesday, I gave my friend Mandy some gluten free pretzels. I know she doesn't get to eat many snacks because she must have gluten free. She was tickled to get them. Also Tuesday, I bought the Hershey bar to give to a homeless man standing at walmart but when I came out, he was gone. So... Wednesday I gave a police officer a Hershey bar. I flagged her down and walked up to the passenger window. I told her I had something for her as I rummaging through my purse. I found it and gave it to her while complimenting her for what she does for us. She didn't want to accept it but I told her it was my random act of kindness. After I walked away, I thought, that prolly didn't seem very safe to her. Here I am rummaging through my purse...I have something for you......I prolly better not do that again, lol.
Wednesday, I also gave my friend Belinda a container of her favorite gum. She had told me one time that it was her absolute favorite so when I was out shopping I picked some up for her. She was super excited.
Today, I gave Annette a calendar she can use every year. It is a desk calendar that flips over daily. It is a spiritual calendar. I knew Annette would appreciate it. She is a great friend and supporter of my blog (thanks Annette)
6. Pray and read scripture for your age in minutes daily.- I pray for 11 minutes in the morning and 11 minutes at night. I also listen to an audio bible for 11 minutes in the morning and 11 at night. Done
7. Drink half my weight in ounces of water.- done I have to drink 72 ounces of water. Done, I think I am drinking about 100 ounces a day.
8. If you are doing any of these stop. Stop flirting, having affairs, committing fornication, looking at pornography, or communicating with a person who is not your spouse. Nope
9. Wash my face before bed. This isn't part of the challenge but I made it part. I need to get back into the habit! Not done yet but will do in a few
