Day 26-27

Health Tip #48-  Don't drink your calories.  It's true friends.  Calories add up quickly when we are drinking them.  This does not mean diet soda is ok.

I just ate my last meal that I will chew for 7 days.  As of tomorrow morning, I will only be drinking my calories.  This is an exception to health tip #48.  I am juicing for the next 7 days as per my challenge.  This week actually calls for a water fast.  During a water fast, one should be able to rest completely.  I am more active than what I should be for a water fast.  If I could take a week off and rest on the beaches of Florida for a water fast, that would work.  However, this is not in my budget, darn!  Soooo, I have opted to juice.  This way I can still get maximum nutrition yet allow my digestive system to rest.  The last time I did my juice reboot, I juiced only for a total of 5 days.  For some reason, 7 days sounds SO much longer.  I can do anything for 7 days right?!  Give me some encouragement here!!!



1. Read the daily proclamation day and night.  done

2. Compliment someone each day and say nothing negative about anyone. I missed my compliment Saturday.  I was going to call my friend and then I got sidetracked and by the time I thought of it again, it was 9:30pm.  So I called my friend Moe up today.  Moe is always willing to throw a helping hand out to help me in my time of need.  I am having problems with my lap top at work and we are using this new computer system to sign our customers in.  I was telling her how I had decided to bring my home computer in and she immediately offered her extra laptop that she doesn't use anymore.  I was thinking about how wonderful she is on the drive home yesterday.  I called her today to let her know how much I appreciate her. 
I also called my son today to tell him how proud I am of him.  He is 21 and has a farm and works for a farm.  He and his fiance have a lot of responsibility.  I am very proud of him for being so responsible. 

3. Stop eating BEFORE you are full. Follow the special body cleansing program- I am eating a vegan diet.  Only able to eat Raw foods this week-  I ate well both days.  Like I said earlier, juice only for the next 7 days.  I stopped by Kroger on the way home tonight.  Can you tell what is wrong with this picture??  The husband texted me asking for vanilla ice cream.  Felt wrong even putting it in the same bag as my veggies. 













4. Do not get angry, curse or complain. Do not gossip about anyone.  Good here.

5.Give someone something material each day.  Made my dad Chicken noodle soup and today I made my brother Frankie an apple pie. 

This picture is the chicken broth I was comparing sodium levels for dad's soup.  I tried to rotate the picture but it won't let me :(  Anyway, the organic chicken broth has 80 mg sodium in 8oz.  The other has 570 mg in 8oz.  The organic was $4.99 and the other was $2.19.  This is SO frustrating to me.  And get this, the 570 mg chicken broth was 33% less sodium than the regular.   WHAT WHAT??  I want to know, WHY?!  Too much salt is NOT good for our bodies.  Why can't we have all chicken broth at 80 mg?  The problem is not even the obvious salt but the hidden salt.   This sounds like a subject to cover on a blog of its own. 



6. Pray and read scripture for your age in minutes daily.- I pray for 11 minutes in the morning and 11 minutes at night. I also listen to an audio bible for 11 minutes in the morning and 11 at night. Done  I got to a part of the bible where there was a story that I could finally understand and relate to. 
Numbers 22:21-34   I am going to let you look it up and read it.  I will share with you in my next blog, my translation of it. 


7. Drink half myweight in ounces of water.- done I have to drink 72 ounces of water. Done.

8. If you are doing any of these stop. Stop flirting, having affairs, committing fornication, looking at pornography, or communicating with a person who is not your spouse. Nope


9. Wash my face before bed. This isn't part of the challenge but I made it part. I need to get back into the habit! Not done yet but will do in a few
